The Brown Bag Lecture Series, every Tuesday through the month of March. Every year we bring in authors, historians, and experts to discuss a wide range of fun topics in local history related to the missions of Iowa Wesleyan University and the Harlan-Lincoln House Museum. All lectures are free and open to the public.

Series History

An annual event hosted by the Friends of the Harlan-Lincoln House organization, the Brown Bag Lecture Series brings together authors, historians, and experts to present on a wide range of topics related to the missions of Iowa Wesleyan University and the Harlan-Lincoln House museum. For more than a decade, supporters have blocked off their calendars for each Tuesday in the month of March in anticipation of gathering together to explore history.
